Saddles

I guess if we were rich enough to own a farm and have our own horses, these english saddles would make a great present for the boys, hehe! If you don't have your own horses, you can always get them for others and I know they'd make a great Christmas present. I never really had a lot of time riding horses. I think I've only been on a horse once in my whole life and that was it. Watching my boys ride the ponies at PonyLand once or twice a year is good enough for me. I feel like I was riding on the horse myself, lol! Need saddles? Check out the site!

Christmas songs...

  • Mood:
We just got home from listening to a Christmas presentation by the Catholic and LDS Churches.  The presentation was amazing and I totally enjoyed it.  It was tough with Aerell though.  He was not a very happy camper at all.  It's a good thing they have a cry room at this Catholic church.  I have never seen anything like that before.  I mean in the LDS church, the people don't really mind if babies whine during the sacrament.  I mean they're babies you know.  It's their nature to whine because they don't really know any better to communicate with us.  I do understand that there are people who don't wanna be disturbed.  So, I'm not complaining.  I'm just stating the difference, haha!  Anyway, it was all good and my favorite was their rendition of the Drummer Boy.  Fabulous presentation and I look forward to another one next year.  Hopefully, Aerell will be big enough to understand so we don't end up staying in the CRY ROOM again.

Heel Pain

Hubby has been complaing a lot lately that his heel hurts every time he walks without shoes. Plantar Fasciitis or heel pain as we commonly know can actually be stopped by using these FootSmart products. I was really excited to find out about this because now, we can use something to avoid the pain. I actually experience this quite a few times before. I have no idea what caused it. I guess it's the lack of cushion or shoes because it usually happens when I walk barefoot on a concrete floor. Anyway, if you suffer from heel pains, please feel free to check out the link above.

Drive carefully!

A friend of mine had a little accident about a year ago. She accidentally hit somebody's Lexus car at a Walmart parking lot. She never thought it would get bad because first it wasn't really a big bump (according to her) and the owner didn't see her anyway. Well, that's what she thought! The owner of the Lexus car complained and ask to look at the surveillance tape and found out who hit her car. So eventually, this friend of mine got caught and was asked to pay for damages. Her car insurance went up because of it. So, what do we learn from this? Drive or park carefully because even if nobody saw what you did, the cameras are always watching you!

Excited for Christmas

  • Mood:
I love Christmas and in case you didn't know, it's my most favorite season of all!  There's just something about it that I can't explain.  I guess that's what you call the magic of Christmas.  Of course I believe it has a lot to do with the fact that we are celebrationg the birth of Christ.  I am excited for the kids and can't wait to see their faces on Christmas morning as they see the presents under the tree.  It doesn't matter if I get anything at all, just seeing their faces lit up as they open their presents is enough for me.  Anyway, I got more reasons now for not being an active blogger since there's a lot to do this time of the year.  I don't even think we have enough time to do them all but it's nice to just make memories.  Well, I got some catching up to do so stay a while.

I did it!

I finally got to send my first ever balikbayan box to the Philippines. I just found out that I have a new baby nephew born a couple of months ago. So, I decided to send some of the baby stuffs that my babies can't use anymore and a few other things that my family have been asking me. It took me a few days to send it off because I didn't have a box cutter. I know it's pretty stupid. It's a good thing hubby has one from work, so everything went well. I just hope they get it before Christmas. It would definitely be a great Christmas present for them.

Have to call it a night...

  • Mood:
It's almost 9pm and I have to go get the boys ready for bed.  I have to go to bed early myself because everybody's going back to normal tomorrow, lol!  You see hubby and AJ were off for the whole week and I sure felt like I was on vacation too, haha!  That's why I never cared if I went to bed at midnight and wake up at 9am the next day.  Now, I'm going back to reality, lol!  It's tough I tell ya.  I can't wait for the 3 weeks to be over so I can relax again.  Thank you for visiting my blog.  I really appreciate it.  See ya next time!

Gift Ideas?

Tomorrow is already December. I can really feel Christmas now especially that we already have our tree. Just like kids, I love the idea of gift giving on Christmas, hehe! I don't necessarily want others to give me gifts. All I really care about is that the kids get something. I'm happy when they're happy and that's all that really matters to me. Anyway, since it's Christmas time, I'm sure everybody is thinking about what to give their loved ones. It might help you to take a look at these promotional business gifts. I think I'll have hubby check them out for his co-workers. Interested? Check out the link above!

Window Shades

You know what I would really like for Christmas? A home makeover, lol! Ok, I know that's impossible and I really didn't wanna be seen on tv anyway but I really would like to have some new decorations and furnitures, lol! A room decorated to feel like I'm in the Philippines so I won't miss my family too much, haha! Perhaps some bamboo shades for the windows and stuff like that. It's not really something I'd normally do but if it's given for free or as a gift, I'd gladly take it. Actually, what I really would like right this minute is a new macro lens for my camera but I might have just to wait a little bit longer for that.

My husband...

  • Mood:
makes the best Chili ever!  I'm sure not everybody knows what I'm talking about especially if you're not from Texas, lol!  I'm not talking about peppers here although it's an essential ingredient to make Chili, lol!  I guess that's how they got that name, hehe! I can't find a site that would explain it so I'll leave you this recipe so you can imagine how this food looks like, haha!  Anyway, hubby has won awards for his Chili and I tell ya, he really does make a great Chili.  He does not follow that recipe by the way, lol!  I have been eating this thing for days and I can't seem to stop it!  Oh my gosh, I might end up using one of those diet pills in the future, haha!  I hope not.  This thing makes my stomach warm, really good for this chilly season, haha!
